Best practices in international chiropractic regulation
to protect the public interest
Membership is open to qualifying organizations throughout the world.

For those interested in chiropractic regulation, registration / licensure, discipline, practice requirements, accreditation, education, examination, continuing professional development, travel to teach or treat
The ICRS Story
The first, informal meeting of those concerned with chiropractic regulatory issues was held in Montréal, Québec in 2009.

Since then, the group has met annually to support those jurisdictions that have legislative authority to regulate chiropractors, and to assist those who wish to work toward adding the appropriate regulatory structure to protect the public.
Anyone interested in the goals of the ICRS
is welcome to attend the annual Forum.
Mobility with Accountability
One of the primary goals of the ICRS is to ensure that qualified chiropractors with clean practice histories can move freely among the regulated jurisdictions, while those with disciplinary records are subject to full disclosure.

Ongoing Projects
Current efforts are devoted to developing reliable information about the state of chiropractic regulation in the world.

The ICRS is focused on registration / licensure, discipline, practice requirements, accreditation, education, examination, discipline,  continuing professional development, travel to teach, and travel for athletic or disaster care.

As set out in the ICRS Articles of Incorporation, the governing board is comprised of the Regulatory members. Partner members participate in a non-voting capacity in accordance with board policies.

Officers are the chair, vice chair, and secretary-treasurer, elected at the annual meeting of the ICRS.

Member organizations designate their own voting delegates and other representatives.
