Fall 2020: NZCB Leadership changes - many thanks to retiring Chair Dr Kristin Grace
Dr Kristin Grace was appointed to the NZCB in August 2011 and became Chair in 2014. During her
time as Chair, she was pivotal in the development of several policies (internally and externally), guiding the Board towards strong right touch regulation, strategic planning and financial and risk management. Dr Grace has kindly agreed to stay on as a board member until her replacement is confirmed. Dr Tim Cooper was elected as Chair at the August 2020 Board meeting. Prior to completing his Bachelor of Chiropractic Dr Cooper graduated with a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology from Auckland University. Dr Cooper was a member of the inaugural class at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and has been in private practice for over 20 years. The NZCB is a founding Regulatory member of the ICRS, and Dr Grace continues as ICRS Vice Chair. |
The newest member of the ICRS is the Association of Chiropractic of Malaysia. Dr. Wong Yi Kai, President, offered an excellent presentation at our 2019 Berlin Forum, focused on the chiropractic profession’s rapid growth and progress in governmental recognition.
